Terms of use.
AgentPostage is operated by CTX Engineering Inc. Before using AgentPostage to add funds, save a payment method or send mail, you must agree to these terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.
What you authorize
AgentPostage submits your PDF and US addresses to LetterStream for printing and mailing. Sending an authenticated request authorizes physical sending and payment from your account. There is no per-letter approval step. You are responsible for activity through your account and API keys. Revoke any key you no longer trust.
Your letter and recipient
You must have the right to send the document and use the addresses you provide. Do not send unlawful content, threats, harassment, fraud, unsolicited bulk mail or content that infringes others’ rights. We may suspend access needed to protect the service, comply with law or address abuse.
You are responsible for addresses, content, signatures, deadlines and the legal adequacy of your correspondence. AgentPostage does not provide legal advice or guarantee a dispute outcome, legal compliance, service of process, delivery date or physical receipt. Provider acceptance is distinct from mailing and delivery.
Price and payments
New letters use the published per-page rates and chosen print options shown on our pricing page. The price includes printing, the outgoing envelope, an address coversheet and US postage, without a separate weight surcharge. Your agent can check the exact current price before sending. A price check does not reserve a future rate. Sending authorizes the current price, which is fixed when the letter is queued. Previously submitted letters keep their original pricing. There is no subscription. This tariff and terms version is 2026-09-17-retail.
Your account must have enough confirmed prepaid funds. Card payments and saved payment methods are handled by Stripe. The minimum funding or recharge payment is $10. Saving a card is optional. Automatic recharge remains off until you explicitly authorize an amount and threshold, and you may disable it in billing.
Refunds, payment reversals and disputes may reduce your balance or create an amount owed that pauses new mail. When closing an account, you may request a refund of the unused, unreserved confirmed balance to the original payment method. We may wait for pending payments, disputes and letters to resolve. Amounts already spent, reserved, reversed or disputed are not refundable, and we do not charge a separate refund fee.
Cancellation and refunds
You can request cancellation before authorization starts. Only a successful cancellation response confirms it. After authorization starts, cancellation is unavailable. A cancelled letter that has not been authorized releases its reserved funds.
An unresolved provider submission is investigated before funds are released or settled. Confirmed billing errors and eligible provider credits are reflected in the account ledger. A mailed letter cannot be recalled through AgentPostage. A returned, delayed or undelivered letter does not automatically qualify for a refund.
Availability and liability
The service is provided as available. Networks, payment processors, mailing providers and postal services can fail or delay work. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CTX Engineering Inc. is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or lost-profit damages. Its total liability arising from the service will not exceed the AgentPostage service fees you paid during the three months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Records and changes
Keep your own copy of documents and evidence you need. PDFs, stored return receipts and addresses are retained for 30 days after confirmed mailing for First-Class, or after delivery for Certified Mail. Cancellation or rejection starts the 30-day period for either service. First-Class status remains mailed. It does not confirm delivery. Documents for pending mail, including mailed Certified letters, letters awaiting funds and uncertain submissions, remain stored until resolved. Accounting metadata may be kept longer, separately from documents. Payment issues do not extend document retention.
We may update these terms prospectively by posting a new effective date. We will require acceptance of the current version before you add funds, create keys or send new mail. You may still review account records, cancel eligible letters, revoke keys and disable automatic recharge before accepting.
