What we process

We process your account name and email, authentication and session data, API-key metadata, submitted PDFs and addresses, mailing status and provider evidence, account balance and payment records, and support correspondence. We use this information to authenticate users, fulfill mail requests, account for charges, prevent abuse, operate and secure the service, provide support and resolve errors.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Service providers and disclosure

Cloudflare hosts the application and private document storage and routes operational email. Neon provides account data storage. WorkOS processes owner authentication and session data. LetterStream receives the PDF and addresses needed to print and mail your letter. Stripe processes payments and stores saved payment methods. Full card details are entered on Stripe, not in AgentPostage forms. Google Workspace processes messages sent to our support addresses.

These providers process information needed for their functions under their own terms. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business reorganization. Physical mail is handled by the mailing provider and postal service. Do not treat mailing as a confidential electronic delivery channel.

Retention

PDFs, stored return receipts and addresses are retained for 30 days after confirmed mailing for First-Class, or after delivery for Certified Mail. Cancellation or rejection starts the 30-day period for either service. First-Class status remains mailed. It does not confirm delivery. Documents for pending mail, including mailed Certified letters, letters awaiting funds and uncertain submissions, remain stored until resolved. Billing and accounting metadata are retained separately. Payment issues do not extend document retention.

Account, billing, support and accounting records are kept as needed to operate the account, reconcile payments, handle disputes, secure the service and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Provider-held records have their own retention policies. Download documents and evidence you need before our retention period ends.

Security and choices

Sign-in uses an essential session cookie. API requests use revocable keys. Document downloads require account authentication. A PDF URL alone does not grant access. You can revoke keys on the connect page and manage saved payment methods in billing.

You may ask to access, correct or delete account information, subject to records we must retain for mailing, payment, security or legal purposes. No internet or physical-mail system can guarantee absolute security.
